Winner Island Casino — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 April 2026. These Terms govern your use of Winner Island and form a binding contract between you and us. Please read them alongside our privacy policy, AML policy, bonus terms and safer gambling policy.
1. Accepting these terms
Opening an account at Winner Island ("we", "us", "the operator") confirms you have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions in full, together with our Privacy Policy, AML Policy, Bonus Terms and Responsible Gaming Policy. The five documents form a single agreement between you and us.
These Terms cover the website winnerisland.org.uk, all of its sub-domains, our mobile interfaces and any product or service made available through them. We may revise the Terms from time to time; the version live on this page at the moment you place a bet or make a deposit governs that transaction. Material amendments are emailed at least 14 days before they take effect.
If anything here doesn't sit right with you, please close your account and stop using the service before any new term applies. Continuing to play after a change has gone live counts as acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Who can play — and from where
You must be at least 18 (or older if your country sets a higher minimum gambling age), legally able to enter into a binding contract, and not currently inside an active GamStop or other multi-operator self-exclusion scheme that applies to you.
Our service is not aimed at, and may not be used from, any jurisdiction in which online gambling is unlawful. Restricted territories include — without being limited to — the United States, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia, Singapore, Turkey, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong and Iran. It is your responsibility to confirm that real-money play is legal where you live.
We reserve the right to decline, restrict or close an account at our sole discretion where eligibility isn't met, including the right to withhold any winnings derived from prohibited use.
3. Your account
One account per person. Duplicate accounts identified by name, address, payment instrument, IP address, household, device fingerprint or shared documentation will be closed and any winnings declared void.
Every detail you give us at registration must be true, accurate, current and complete. Tell us within 14 days about any change to your name, address, country of residence or payment instruments.
Your username, password and one-time codes are yours alone — anything done with your credentials is treated as having been done by you. Email support@winnerisland.org.uk the moment you suspect unauthorised access.
We may, as often as we reasonably need to, ask for identification documents (passport, driving licence or national ID), proof of address dated within the last three months, proof of payment-method ownership and source-of-funds evidence. Withdrawals can be paused while verification is in progress.
4. Deposits, withdrawals and dormant accounts
The minimum deposit is £10 and the standard maximum single deposit is £5,000 (lower limits may apply on specific payment methods). Cards and e-wallets credit instantly; bank transfers can take up to one business day. We don't accept third-party payments — funds must come from an account in your own name.
Withdrawal requests are reviewed inside 24 hours of submission. Once approved, funds release in: e-wallets up to 24 hours, debit cards 1–3 business days, bank transfer 2–5 business days. Minimum withdrawal is £20. AML rules require us to pay back to the original deposit method first where applicable.
Player funds sit in a segregated client account, ring-fenced from operating cash. In the unlikely event of insolvency, customer funds are protected to the extent required by our licence (medium protection rating).
If your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months we will email you and may apply a £5 monthly dormancy fee (or your remaining balance if smaller) until activity resumes or the account is closed.
5. Fair play and prohibited conduct
All games run on certified RNGs tested by independent labs (eCOGRA, iTech Labs or GLI). The return-to-player percentage for each game is published in its information panel and audited monthly.
The following conduct results in immediate account closure, forfeiture of all balances, and reporting to law enforcement and other operators where relevant: collusion between players; use of bots, scripts, automated software or AI playing on your behalf; exploitation of game malfunctions; chip-dumping; bonus abuse; multi-accounting; use of stolen payment instruments; and any attempt to defraud or hack the platform.
Where a game malfunction occurs, all bets and pays on the affected round are voided and stakes returned. We are not liable for any displayed winnings caused by software error.
6. Bonuses and promotions
All bonuses are governed by our separate Bonus Terms and Conditions, which form part of this agreement. Accepting any bonus means accepting those terms in full, including wagering requirements, max-bet limits and game contribution rates.
We may withdraw, amend or cancel any promotion at any time, including for individual players where we reasonably suspect bonus abuse. In those cases bonus funds and any winnings derived from them may be forfeited.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month window is capped at the greater of (a) the net amount you actually lost on the platform during that window, or (b) £500. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive losses, lost profits, lost opportunity or lost goodwill.
We are not responsible for failures of internet connectivity, third-party payment providers or events of force majeure that stop the service from operating.
8. Closing or suspending your account
You can close your account whenever you like by contacting support — any verified balance is returned to you, less anything you owe us. If you'd rather take a break or self-exclude, head to our Responsible Gaming page.
We may suspend or close an account immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms, if a regulator or law-enforcement authority requires it, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering or gambling-related harm.
9. Complaints, disputes and ADR
Got a complaint? Email support@winnerisland.org.uk first — we acknowledge inside 24 hours and aim to fully resolve within 8 weeks.
If we can't resolve it to your satisfaction, you can refer the matter free of charge to our independent Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, or escalate to our regulator Anjouan Gaming (Government of the Union of the Comoros), licence ALSI-202411081-FI2.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that we may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence to enforce a debt.
If a court ever finds any provision unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in full force and effect.
