The Winner Island sportsbook — a full guide for UK punters

Written by Sofia Rinaldi, Sportsbook EditorReviewed by Winner Island Editorial TeamLast updated 22 April 2026

The Winner Island sportsbook covers more than thirty sports and some 70,000 live events a calendar year — from the Champions League, NBA Finals and the Premier League down to League of Legends Worlds and a Sunday morning sumo basho. Every standard market is present (match winner, handicap, totals, both teams to score) along with same-game multis, the in-house bet builder, request-a-bet and partial cash-out. It runs on the same wallet as our slots and live casino.

Bet types — a plain-English glossary

  • Single. One selection. Simplest bet there is — pick a winner, set a stake.
  • Multi (accumulator). Two or more selections combined. Every leg has to win, but the odds multiply through the ticket.
  • System bet. A combination of multis (Trixie, Yankee, Lucky 15) where you still get a return even if not every selection lands.
  • Bet builder / SGM. Stack multiple markets inside a single fixture — for example "BTTS + over 2.5 + Salah anytime scorer".
  • In-play. Bet on a match that's already underway, with prices that update every few seconds as the action moves.
  • Cash-out. Settle a bet early — either fully or partially — based on the current live odds, before the event ends.

Sportsbook offers

The sportsbook runs its own slate of offers separate to the casino welcome pack — a free-bet welcome offer, weekly accumulator boosts and a money-back-on-loser promotion on selected competitions. Active offers live on the promotions page and the binding rules are in the bonus terms. Sports wagers contribute 0% to casino bonus wagering — keep the two cycles separate to avoid surprises.

Sports betting at Winner Island — questions worth asking

Is the sportsbook on the same Winner Island account as the casino?
Yes. Casino, live casino and sportsbook all share one wallet and one log-in. Deposit once and switch between products with no internal transfers required.
What's the smallest bet I can place?
£0.10 per single. Multi bets and bet builders can carry small per-market minimums set by the trader — usually £0.20 to £1.00.
Do you offer in-play and live streaming?
Yes. Live betting is available on virtually every match in football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, eSports and more. Live streams are offered on selected football, tennis and eSports fixtures to logged-in customers with a positive balance or a bet settled in the last 24 hours.
Can I cash a bet out early?
Yes — partial cash-out and auto cash-out are available on most pre-match and in-play singles and multis. The button appears in your bet slip and on the My Bets page when cash-out is on offer.
What's the most a single bet can win?
Up to £1,000,000 per single ticket. Higher caps can be agreed in advance for VIP customers through their personal host.
Are sports bonuses run separately from casino bonuses?
Yes. Sportsbook offers (free bets, acca boosts, money-back) sit under their own terms and don't interact with casino bonus cycles. Sports wagers contribute 0% to casino bonus wagering, so you can run both in parallel without crossing them up.
